1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of cleaning services provided by Jo’s Xtreme Clean (“We/Us/Our”) and form a contract between you (“You/Client/Customer”) and us.
1.2 By requesting, booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
2. Services
2.1 We agree to provide cleaning services as described in your booking, quote or confirmation (“Services”).
2.2 The Services provided will be based on the information you provide on the booking form and confirmed in your quotation.
2.3 Any additional services requested after booking must be agreed in writing before they are provided.
3. Booking & Quotes
3.1 You must complete our booking form with accurate details about the property, access, and requirements so we can provide an accurate quote.
3.2 Quotes are provided based on the details supplied. If your property differs significantly from what was described (size, condition, access, pets, etc.), we will revise the quote.
3.3 All quotes are estimates only
3.4 Quotes may change following inspection of the property
3.5 All quote adjustments will be discussed with the client before work commences
4. Access
4.1 To complete the Services, you must provide safe and unencumbered access to the property at the scheduled time.
4.2 You may use a lockbox or otherwise arrange access if you are not present. If access is not provided or your key is not available at the agreed time, this may be treated as a cancellation (see cancellation policy).
4.3 If entry is prevented due to locked gates, missing keys, incorrect instructions, or pets blocking access, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
5. Payments
5.1 Payment terms are as stated in your quote or confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, full payment must be made:
(a) Prior to or on the day of service; or
(b) Through agreed payment methods such as Afterpay where offered.
5.2 GST and any applicable taxes are included in quoted prices unless stated otherwise.
6. Timing Expectations
6.1 Any timeframe provided (e.g., estimated hours to complete the clean) is a guide only. Actual time taken may vary depending on size, condition, and any additional requirements.
6.2 You acknowledge that time estimates are not guaranteed and understand that final pricing is based on the job, not hours worked.
7. Pets & Property Preparation
7.1 Pets must be secured or off-site during the Service for safety and to allow us to clean efficiently.
7.2 Carpets must be professionally cleaned prior to the scheduled clean where pets have been present, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Liability & Damage
8.1 We take care when providing Services, but to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage due to pre-existing conditions, wear and tear, or situations beyond our control.
8.2 You must notify us of any damage caused by our service within 24 hours of completion so we can assess and address it.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
9.1 If you are not satisfied with the Services, please contact us within 24 hours so we can work with you to resolve the issue. (see Service Satisfaction Policy)
10. Privacy
10.1 We collect personal information needed to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations.
10.2 We will handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and will not share it with third parties except where required by law or necessary to provide the Services.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time by publishing a revised version on our website. Updated terms take effect 24 hours after publication.
12. Governing Law
12.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in NSW.
13. Health and safety
13.1 Cleaners are not permitted to lift or move furniture
13.2 Any furniture that needs moving must be moved before arrival
